TAG :)

I am supposed to name 7 Random things about me and then tag 7 people to do the same...Unfortunately I'm new to this blog world and only have my 1 trusty friend...good ole' sis! And just so wer're all clear on things...I DO NOT snore OR drool when I sleep!!! lol ;) K so here it goes....7 things....

1) I sucked my finger until I was...ummmm... I think 12!!! lol I wouldn't suck it around people...only at night when it was bedtime...that was my comfort...and b/c of that comfort I now have a slightly crooked finger AND I wore braces for 4 years!!! My family tried EVERYTHING to get me to stop...they wrapped it I tore it off...they put some sort of awful tasting liquid on it...i sucked through it! lol So yeh....there's #1 ....many people dont realize I sucked my finger until that old AND have the crookedness to prove it! lol ;)

2) I have an obsession for pocketbooks....my sis does to somewhat...but I tend to go a little crazy...as in at least 2 pocketbooks a month! lol ;) I just LOVE them....I think it's more of a collection thing for me.....I have any style you'd imagine and every color and it's just fun to spot 1 and go crazy & have to have it......some people (like my husband) say it's ridiculous and a waste of money....but I say everyone should at least have that 1 thing to buy (within there means of course) that makes them feel special...unique....stylish..whatever you may call it.....and well.....pocketbooks do it for me!!! :)

3) I am a photographer :) Yes most already know this...but not many understand how much I REALLY REALLY REALLY love being behind a camera instead of in front of one :) If there is one thing I take seriously it's my photography......I love taking pics of ANYTHING.....if I had $1 for every picture I have taken...seriously I'd be RICH people!!! lol

4) I scratch my throat....yes this is something that drives EVERYBODY crazy especially my GOOD OLE' BIG SISTA! ;) But I figured out how to do it when I was small (and I have pretty bad allergies so it feels good) so it's something that has stuck with me.....the only problem is it sounds like some sort of undescovered animal...and it freaks people out! lol I have to say it took my hubby a looong time to get used to it.....even now (mostly in the summer) when I do it he gives me the "will you knock it off!" look :0)

5) I CANT COOK!!! This irriates me to NO END but it's true......I burn water people!!! lol ;) I've only cooked 1 meal out of the whole 5 years I've been with my husband that he has really honestly enjoyed.....and that was Oprahs Meatloaf =D My WHOLE family can cook...yes even the men in my family...buuuut me....I should be banned from the kitchen! Yes I have even had to use a fire extinguisher before...it got THAT ugly!!! lol So...good thing I married a man that can cook (AND owns his own restaurant) so that I know my family will NEVER starve! :) But let me just say....there's nothing wrong with t.v. dinners and a little ramen noodle action!!! haha :0)

6) I clean when I'm angry......I don't know how this happens but if Bryan makes me mad I drag out that ole' vaccum!!! lol It's amazing really how fast (and clean) I can get my house together and I don't understand this issue but you can always tell when I'm upset, aggrevated, bummed....well neway you get the picture...I'll be dusting, mopping, folding, etc....etc....etc..!! lol

7) I HATE shoes! Yes, please do find this hard to believe seeing as how my sister and my mother OBSESS over shoes....I loathe them! I am strictly a flip flop girl! Yes even in the winter time I bare my toes!!! lol My family hates it....they think I'm gonna get sick from cold little piggies hanging out...but my feet sweat soooo terribly that I prefer just letting that good old fresh air hit my feet :) I can't tell you how many times I got into straight up arguements with my parents for wearing flip flops everywhere........but I always got my way and I do believe I'll still be wearing flip floppers even in my old years!! :)

Well, that's 7 Random things about me....as soon as I get more bloggie friends I'll forward to them but for now enjoy the reading sis ;)

1st Shots

Well today was a day that I dreaded from the moment my sweet little butterbean was born........the awful vaccination day when my sweet boy was gonna have to get pricked :(

To make matters worse he was sooooooo chipper this morning, all cooing and smiling for me and Bryan so it broke our hearts to know what was going to happen. I warned Bryan that he better hold my hand tight so that I didn't slap anybody (haha) I'm sooo protective of Elias, I'm sure most mothers are with there babies too, but I didn't feel prepared to let someone I didn't know hold him down and make him cry :( I know I know...this is something all babies have to do and it's for the better...but it's just so hard for me to watch my sweet little man cry in pain.

So as you can see I overeacted just a tad...my little sweet cheeks was a trooper ya'll!!! He let out one scream but then whem mommie picked him up he was A' OK!!! :) I'm soooo proud :) And happy that I didn't leave the docs office in handcuffs or worse =D Yes I know I better get over now all the things my little boy is going to have to deal with but....it may take me awhile!! lol :)

My little butterbean is growing sooooo sooo fast it's just amazing and fun to watch him do something different everyday! He's starting to form this hilarious little personality that I just can't get enough of!! I feel so blessed to be able to capture every moment I can and not have to worry about anything but enjoying the day with my chunkey munkey (as I call him) :0) Ooohhh how great it is to be a stay at home mommie!!

Eli's Room :)

Good morning bloggers :)

Thought I'd post some photos of Eli's room :) Bryan and I had soooo much fun getting his room ready.....we started on it when I was about 2 months prego and didn't finish until right before Eli got here...we kept adding and adding and arranging and changing...it was soooo much fun! :) We got his furniture and pretty much everything from Babies R Us we traveled to Jacksonville twice to goto this store and was sooooooooo overwhelmed when we first walked in.....and stayed there ALL day picking out things and having a blast! I love Walmart but Babies R Us is where it's at for baby essentials!
